Common questions
Does my employer have to give me off for Shabbos and Yom Tov?
In the US, Title VII requires employers to reasonably accommodate an employee's religious practices, such as Sabbath observance, unless it causes undue hardship. The EEOC's fact sheet explains the rules and how to file a charge. This is general information, not legal advice; for your situation, speak with an employment lawyer or the EEOC.
